When we started six years ago, we had no idea how many people would come. Not a clue. We didn’t yet understand the hunger our community harbors for live music.

In the early years, we averaged more than 1,000 attendees per event. Not surprising, considering tickets were free. However, in Spring 2021 we began charging $10 per person and requiring online tickets. Once again, we didn’t know what to expect. Would these changes keep fans away?

 

Not at all! Every Spring 2021 show sold out, with more than 1,500 people at each event. This tremendous success has emboldened us to expand Live at Five. With this continued support, we are now striving to book bigger bands and explore new opportunities to present the best live music experience to our Fairhope audience.
